Summary
[edit]DescriptionNorwich Bound at Horsemoor - geograph.org.uk - 1707044.jpg |
English: Norwich Bound at Horsemoor, near to Town End, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain.
A Birmingham to Norwich train has left March and has crossed over the country road passing Horsemoor. The signal box Horsemoor stood at this time the March side of the level crossing and can be seen in the background. This has long since gone along with the signals and the locomotive and coaching stock. For many years a couple of horses would always be seen in the field by the signal box and railway which meant it really was Horsemoor. One of these only had one eye and I can recall he was always in that field for well over a decade when ever I passed by. |
