Summary

[edit]
Description
English:

Horizontal, black and white photograph showing the northwest corner of 7th Street and Cerre Street. Several men and a young boy are standing on the streetcorner in the foreground. A large campaign poster supporting Rolla Wells for mayor of St. Louis can be seen on a wall across from them. A variety of horse-drawn wagons and carts are driving on the cobblestone street. Brick buildings line both sides of the street, although few business signs are visible.

A typed note on the back of the print, possibly an exhibit caption, reads: "Northwest corner of Seventh and Cerre Streets. 1905. Campaign poster supports Rolla Wells for second term in office as Mayor of St. Louis."
