| Description |
English: Northrop T-38 Talon jet trainer displayed at the Museum of Aviation in Košice, Slovakia. Manufactured by the American aviation company Northrop Corporation 1961 and 1972, it has been part of the inventory of the United States Air Force since the 1960s, and has also served in the air forces of Germany, Portugal, Turkey and Taiwan (the Republic of China). The T-38 Talon is planned to be retired from the US Air Force from 2023 onward, replaced by the Boeing-Saab T-7 Red Hawk. The Museum of Aviation in Košice also displays a Northrop F-5 light jet fighter, developed from the T-38 Talon.
Slovenčina: Prúdové cvičné lietadlo Northrop T-38 Talon ("Pazúr dravca", "Talón"), vystavené v Múzeu letectva v Košiciach, Slovensko. Vyrábané americkou spoločnosťou Northrop Corporation v rokoch 1961-1972, je súčasťou Vzdušných síl Spojených štátov od 60. rokov 20. storočia, a slúžilo tiež vo vzdušných silách Nemecka, Portugalska, Turecka a Taiwanu (Čínskej republiky). Vyradenie lietadiel T-38 Talon z prevádzky vo Vzdušných silách Spojených štátov je naplánované od roku 2023, nahradené budú prúdovými cvičnými lietadlami Boeing-Saab T-7 Red Hawk. Múzeum letectva v Košiciach vystavuje aj ľahkú prúdovú stíhačku Northrop F-5, vyvinutú z lietadla T-38 Talon. |
