Description Die cut ink blotter in the shape of the Northern Pacific Railway's well-known "great big baked potato".
Date I see no dating on the item. The railroad became known for offering this special type of baked potato in their dining cars around the beginning of the 20th century. Northern Pacific's passenger service stopped in 1971, when Amtrak assumed operation for all long-distance passenger service in 1971. This appears to be circa 1930s as the train is billed as air conditioned--this is not before 1923.
