Playing the parade through High Street. INVERNESS CLASSIC VEHICLE SHOW - Northern Constabulary Community Pipe Band were invted to lead the Finale Parade of the show this afternoon in Inverness City Centre. The Band stepped off from the East end of Eastgate, played along to the far end of High Street, and then formed a rank on either side of HIgh Street as a Guard of Honour as all the many and varied Classic Vehicles paraded through the City Centre.Despite the exhaust fumes, the 9 pipers and 6 drummers managed to keep playing throughout (they were able get their breath back between Sets!) The intermittent drizzle failed to put a damper on what was a pleasant, interesting and well attended event - good to see the City Centre so busy. Full marks to Mike Smith and the Inverness BID Ltd team for running such a great event! |
