Now that the force is sadly riding off into the sunset (it becomes the Highlands & Islands Area of the Police Service of Scotland on 1st April 2013) I have been wallowing in nostalgia. Looking back over my photos, here's a few I had not previously uploaded. These vehicles will have all long gone to the great Auction Mart. Very hard to believe it is 8 years (some more than that) since I took these shots. A real oldie - for me - with my first digital camera, of a smart-looking Volvo Estate - definitely one of the best-looking in the NorCon livery. The Dog Section pick-up was, I think, a demonstrator but the Section's Sergeant did get a Ford Ranger not long after that. |
