He hadrecently finished a treatise on theNebular Hypothesis. For a manof his age his mind was wonder-fully clear and his memory re-markable. England was proud ofher Gladstone and he was knownas the Grand Old Man. Rev.Jones might well and truly bestyled a Grand Old Man. Hisvery life was a protest againstwickedness.
