A crop of the raw Apollo 16 Hasselblad image from film magazine 118/NN - Earth, Undocking, Moon. The photo, AS16-118-18880, was taken shortly after photo 118-18879, which was published as Figure 4-4 of the Apollo 16 Preliminary Science Report (NASA SP-315). The caption for 118-18879 states that the photograph was photograph was taken approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes after the TLI burn. This is a crop from the whole file which includes more black film and the punch outs on the edges of the film. This photo is categorized as AS16-118-18880. |
