English: Norfolk House - ex Britannia P.H.. Built on the apex of the junction of Western Road and Park Road in Tring is this former Public House. Tring Brewery, run by the Brown family, flourished in Tring in the C19th and built several pubs around the area, all in a very similar company style. Only a few now remain as pubs, such as the 776416, but most of the buildings still survive such as this one. Formerly The Britannia P.H. it closed in the early 80s and is now a private residence, having had its name changed to Norfolk House. |
