Description
English: Norchard Station Norchard is the site of a former colliery and power station (West Gloucestershire Power Station) in the Forest of Dean. The Dean Forest Railway, based at Norchard, runs between Lydney and Parkend in Gloucestershire. Now a heritage railway, the route was once part of the Severn and Wye Railway.

The station has sidings and a shed and is the engineering base of the railway.

There is a free museum, gift shop and café (Plate-Layers Buffet)free car parking, souvenir shop, free museum. The train has just left the high level platform and is bound for Parkend.
