Summary
[edit]DescriptionNoon on the sundial.jpg |
English: 12:00 noon according to the sundial at Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. According to the smartphone used to take the photo, it's 1:22pm.
Why the discrepancy? First, there's a correction based on the time of year (22 minutes in mid-July). Second, it's Daylight Savings Time, which adds an hour. |
