Locality: Poudrette quarry (De-Mix quarry; Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Carrière Mont Saint-Hilaire; MSH), Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada
The niveolanite tufts span ~ 2 cm total. Ex Jean-Pierre Beckerich. MOB coll. This is "classic" snow white niveolanite. Compare with http://www.mindat.org/photo-164748.html The rest of the white stuff is mostly stubby natrolite prisms but there are some franconite balls mixed in. (The matrix is white microcline.)
