From the study "A triple increase in global river basins with water scarcity due to future pollution"

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: "The maps below show Total Dissolved Nitrogen (TDN) inputs to rivers (left panel) and the dominant source of TDN inputs to rivers (right panel) at the sub-basin scale in 2010 and 2050. For 2050, three scenarios are analyzed: SSP1-RCP2p6, SSP2-RCP2p6, SSP5-RCP8p5. Details of the scenarios based on the Shared-economic pathways (SSPs) and Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) are available in Supplementary Tables S9–S11 in the Supporting Information." 2024 in science
