Cast gate at Toshogu, Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All pieces are cast of metal. This is the innermost gate. Within it lies the urn holding the remains of Tokugawa Ieyasu. I took the photo and contribute it to the public domain. However, people and institutions may retain rights to images in it.
