Text Appearing After Image:
After years of careful study and hybridizing the most beautiful varieties, we at last succeeded in obtain-ing this GRAND NEW CONST ANT-BLOOMING ROSE, which has attracted so much attention, andproved of suoh remarkable beauty and value that we requested permission of MISS CLARA BARTON g3ol0&y^ to give it her name, in remembrance of the noble work she has done in the cause of humanity all over theworld. This permission was kindly granted, coupled with the suggestion that it be called simply CLARABARTON. This we have therefore done, and believing that it will be found one of the most beautiful andhighly valued Roses now known, we take great pleasure in introducing it to all lovers of beautiful Roses as^ne of the choicest varieties of which we have any knowledge. The flowers are quite large, perfectly double, and wonderfully sweet. The color is delicate flesh pink It is a tremendous bloomer, loaded with flowersthe whole season, and quite hardy. Extra fine, both for bedding and house cunewfloralguide181899cona_0
