New bus stop, Chatsworth Road, E5 This stretch of road hasn't had a regular bus service for a long time, a 256 from Hackney to Chingford many years ago, which ceased sometime in the mid 1970s, the number subsequently being re-utilised for Romford-Hornchurch local service.. A variant of the 35, the 35B also ran along here in the 1960s, from Downham Road Terminus to Chingford. The Millfields stop, also the terminus of the 22 following extension from the Clapton Park Tavern, served the former Greyhound Stadium , previously the ground of Clapton Orient FC, today's Leyton Orient. [up the O's]. This a result of the extension of the 308 from Millfields to Clapton Pond, an increase in PVR and increased weekday and weekend frequency and regaining of something approximating to its previous route through the Olympic Park.
