Description

On April 2, 2014, Dr. France A. Córdova was sworn in as the director of the National Science Foundation in a public ceremony at the agency’s Arlington, Va., headquarters. John P. Holdren, assistant to the president for science and technology and director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, administered the oath. In brief remarks, Holdren told the audience, “I know she is going to be a great leader for the National Science Foundation. She is an extraordinary person; this is an extraordinary institution.” To learn more, see the NSF press release.
