Summary
[edit]DescriptionNew Metro Depot, Percy Main (geograph 6833403 by Graham Robson).jpg |
English: A new facility for the stabling of Tyne and Wear Metro trains has been constructed on previously undeveloped land bounded by the A19, A187 and the metro line. The depot has been built as part of wider project to replace the ageing fleet of Metro trains and rebuild the service's main depot at South Gosforth. The depot provides extra storage facilities for trains while space at the main depot is being rebuilt as well as providing convenient road access for the delivery of the new fleet. |
