English: New Forest heathland near the Bramshaw Telegraph. Looking southwest from the site of the Bramshaw Telegraph towards the trees at Picket Corner. The Telegraph was the site of an early 19th century Admiralty signalling station, part of a chain that stretched from Plymouth to London. It is on the second highest hill in the Forest. |
