English: Nevers (Nièvre)
Eglise Saint-Pierre (XVIIe siècle). C'est l'ancienne église du collège des Jésuites. Elle a été construite de 1612 à 1676. Le plan en forme de croix grecque a été conçu par le frère Martellange* (1569-1641), l'un des architectes les plus connus de la Compagnie de Jésus. La façade classique est à deux ordres superposés, toscan et ionique. A l'intérieur, les voûtes reçoivent les fresques en trompe-l'oeil du peintre bolognais Giovanni Battista Gherardini*. Elles ont été réalisées entre 1684 et 1692.
Gherardini laissera un livre, dédié au duc de Nevers, dans lequel il relate son voyage sur l'Amphitrite.
