Nederlands: Electrische pomp in het gemaal "De Volharding" te Stompwijk (Gemeente Leidschendam-Voorburg, Prov. Zuid-Holland). Dit gemaal werd van 1882 tot de vroege jaren 1990 gebruikt voor de bemaling van de Drooggemaakte Grote Polder en had diverse motoren. Zo werd het gemaal tot 1914 aangedreven met een stoommachine.
English: Water pump in the pumping station "De Volharding" in Stompwijk (Municipality Leidschendam-Voorburg, Province South Holland, Netherlands). This pumping station was used from 1882 to the early 1990's to drain the Reclaimed Large Polder (Drooggemaakte Grote Polder). Its first engine was a steam engine, which functioned until 1914. |
