People performing rituals for the remembrance of dead one

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a common Nepali tradition. In Nepal , after 1 year of someone's death, her/his family members perform some rituals as a way to remember and make her/him soul rest in peace. In the above picture people are burning more than 1 lakh holy strings together (thats the reason people call it "lakh batti" ) in the name of the dead one. There are also some other occasions where people light fire the same way but in the above photo; the reason is already mentioned .
