Most such disks have been found in elite tombs, and required much skill and patience to produce; this disk's rough shape suggests it was hastily produced for burial purposes. Français : Culture Liangzhu, période néolithique (3 300 à 2 200 av. J-C. Trouvé à Yuhang, province de Zhejiang. Néphrite. Objet énigmatique : peut symboliser les "cieux". De tels disques étaient des objets rituels. La plupart ont été trouvés dans des tombes de personnages importants et ont demandé beaucoup de maîtrise et de patience pour être confectionnés.
