Description
This file uses duodecimal digits for the keys.

The 24 triads on the piano keyboard, arranged in a circle with key numbers from 0 to 11

Major triads start and end with red keys, minor triads with blue keys.
Major thirds are represented by slightly thicker gray lines.
Black keys have a gray background.

The tonnetz also shows the neighbouring triads, but also the parallels.

A left minor and a right major triad are relatives (R), like a/C.
A left major and a right minor triad are leading-lone exchanges (L), like F/a or C/e.

Modulo 12 the numbers have the following properties:
Those horizontally symmetric add up to 0, e.g. 4 + 8 = 12 = 0.
Those vertically symmetric add up to 6, e.g. 4 + 2 = 6.
Those opposite each other have the difference 6, e.g. 10 − 4 = 6.

This diagram contains the circle of fifths, which is better seen in the tilted version shown below.
