DescriptionNavra Navri Cha Dongar.jpg |
English: Situated just next to Fort Kamal Gad. Literally translated, it means husband and wife's mountain.
There is a story remembered behind this mountain name, one day a wedding procession (in Marathi "Varat", in Hindi "Barat") was traveling on this mountain. It was required for this wedding procession to leave for destination before a rooster crows in early morning. However the rooster crows in early morning before wedding procession leaves the mountain. And suddenly entire wedding procession just disappeared, missing forever. According to local people's, they were getting turmeric mixed rice (Akshata, used for weddings) flowing through river of the mountain. I don't know why it is called so but it certainly has some interesting rock formations on top of it.Français : Rue de nuages (cumulus mediocris) à Fort Kamal Gad.
