English: The museum has information and a mannequin representing Cafer Tayyar EĞİLMEZ (1878-1958), Soldier and Politician. He was born in Pristina in 1878. His father was Captain Emin Bey, one of our officers who was martyred during the defense of Plevne in the 1877-78 Ottoman-Russian War. After graduating from the Monastir Military Junior High School and the Monastir Military Preparatory School, Cafer Tayyar enrolled in the Istanbul Military Academy on March 1, 1898. He graduated from the War Academy with the rank of Staff Captain on January 4, 1904.
