National Museum of Military History in Diekirch brings history alive
DIEKIRCH, Luxembourg – The personal uniform and artifacts donated by a German survivor of the "Bulge," then a member of the elite "Panzerlehrdivision" which is an armored division are displayed at the National Museum of Military History in Diekirch, Luxembourg. A series of large-scale life-size dioramas, thematic exhibits, weaponry, vehicles, countless original photographs and many personal artifacts tell the story of the liberation of Luxembourg by the United States and allied forces in 1944-45 as well as the history of the “Battle of the Bulge,” at the museum.
