| Description |
English: National Grid Wireless There are some who say the National Grid should concentrate on getting power to consumers instead of buying up Radio Transmitter sites. Westerglen was originally owned by the BBC and uses as a MW (medium wave) transmitting site for Radios 2 & 4. Since 'commercialisation; the mast usually shown in Geograph pictures is not radio, but mobile telephone - and the tri-grid antennae array is used by a cellular network. |
