Description
English: Naltar is a valley near Gilgit, Hunza and Nomal, in the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan. Naltar is 40 km (25 mi) from Gilgit and can be reached by jeeps. Naltar is a forested (pine) village known for its wildlife and magnificent mountain scenery. This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes that can be found in this valley. Optimal time to visit Naltar Valley is in the early morning. You have to reach the Jeep point (NOMAL) at 7 a.m and book a jeep. There is a ski resort at Naltar Valley which only operates from 9-11 a.m. The chairlift scenes are amazing and work is in progress to extend it.
