Description

Seen in daylight and fluorescing when illuminated under medium wave ultraviolet light. Fluorescence is low in long wave, better in short wave, but by far best under medium wave UV light.

The large crystal of calcite in the middle is approximately 4 mm long.

From the Samson Mine in the beautiful Harz Mountains of St. Adreasberg in Lower Saxony of the former East Germany.
