Description

El Queiles es un río afluente del Ebro por su margen derecha. Nace en Vozmediano (Soria). En este nacedero surge el agua a borbotones de una sima del Moncayo, manantial que constituye el segundo con más flujo de Europa (1500 litros de agua por segundo).

las aguas que caen sobre la vertiente soriana del macizo del Mancado se introducen en la fosa Beratón y por una red de canales interiores salen por este lugar a borbotones.

Y pese a que las aguas de la vertiente soriana caen sobre la cuenca del Duero, pero al meterse en la fosa Beratón no van al Duero sino que salen por este lugar y posteriormente van al Ebro.Por eso las gentes de la zona dicen
