Description
Deutsch: Die Traunleiten beginnt bei Hasenufer (Gemeinde Pucking, Linz-Land, Oberösterreich) und reicht auf einer Länge von ca. elf Kilometern entlang des unteren Trauntales bis Almegg. Der Höhenunterschied zwischen Tal und der Traun-Enns-Platte beträgt bis zu 60 m. Auf Grund der Steilheit wurde der Hang immer nur als Wald nutzbar. Die natürlichen Artengemeinschaft des Linden-Ahorn-Hangwaldes sind durch Holznutzung und Aufforstung mit Fichten gefährdet. Die Leiten in Pucking ist noch weitgehend in natürlichem Zustand und gehört zu den besonders erhaltenswerten Landschaftsformen des unteren Trauntals.
