A CAN-struction challenge was one of the featured events at NSF as part of its participation in Feds Feed Families, a federal agency-wide campaign to fight hunger. Volunteer teams designed and built structures out of food donations using the theme, “Knock Out Hunger.” Winners were announced at a celebration on July 31. The event also featured a talented area 9-year old singer who performed the National Anthem and a second song, amazing the audience with his voice.
