| Description | Thirty people - volunteers as well as BLM and Forest Service employees - helped the Pinedale Field Office celebrate NPLD 2012. A dilapidated fence was modified to be wildlife friendly for the pronghorn and mule deer migration and buck-and-rail fencing was installed to protect a riparian area along the Green River. Twelve combination bat and bird houses were built, and several children had a wonderful time stenciling bat and bird images on them. Each bat house can house up to 80 bats and will provide much needed shelter for area species. |
