Located next to Canada on the northwest corner of Washington state, the San Juan Islands are one of the most beautiful and remote locations in America’s Great Outdoors. On NPLD 2012, staff and volunteers worked on trails, cleaned beaches, and hauled away trash and other debris. Cheered by the perfect weather, everyone in the community had a wonderful experience.
