English: Volunteers from Haywood Community College’s faculty and student government hang yellow ribbons on the trees that line the entrance to the school before a mobilization ceremony honoring the North Carolina National Guard’s 211th Military Police Company in Clyde, N.C., Sept. 22. Friends, family and community leaders turned out to support the more than 120 soldiers, who will deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Their mission is to conduct facility security operations at one of the major military bases there. “No matter what the Mountain Enforcers (the unit’s nickname) are always ready,” said the unit’s commander, Army Capt. David Parks.
