NCL-5EFB03: Post-Medieval buckle
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. 1600-1700.

The buckle frame is complete, missing only the pin. The double-looped frame is asymmetrical and sub-rectangular in plan, tapering from the rectangular-ended frame to a rounded frame with small knop protrusions at each corner. The cross bar is cast integral. The rectangular-ended frame has moulded ribbing across the outer frame.
