Summary

[edit]
Description
English: NBBNN25, east-central Back Basin, southeastern Norris Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Hotspot, northwestern Wyoming, USA on 9 August 2011. This unnamed hydrothermal feature is just west of Arch Steam Vent. It consists of a small, bubbling pool adjacent to two larger ponds. NBBNN25 has acidic, low-temperature water. The medium gray-colored materials lining the walls of the pool appear to be stratified glacial deposits. The light-colored gravel surrounding the pool is weathered geyserite (siliceous sinter).
