Deutsch: Gedenktafel innerhalb der Doppeltoranlage des Friedländer Tores in Neubrandenburg. Im 30-jährigen Krieg, 1631, gelang es den Truppen des Generals Tilly in die Mauer neben dem Tor eine Bresche zu schießen und in die Stadt einzudringen. Text auf der Tafel: Am 9.März 1631 starb hier Kapitän Pflug mit einem Teil der schwedischen Besatzung den Heldentod bei der Erstürmung der Stadt durch Tilly. Den schönsten Tod in dieser Welt stirbt, wer als Held getreu für gute Sache fällt. |
