Description
English: 160907-N-TI567-029 STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. -- Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School Commander Clay Pendergrass (back right of boat) receives a concept of operations brief from a NAVSCIATTS instructor prior to simulated extraction exercises by Patrol Craft Advanced Training course students at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. PCAT is a five-week course that provides established international military and police maritime special operations units/teams with advanced training in the operation of patrol craft while conducting riverine special operations missions. NAVSCIATTS conducts Foreign Internal Defense in support of combatant commanders in accordance with commander, U.S. Special Operations Command priorities, using mobile training teams and in-residence training to prepare partner nation forces to conduct small craft operations in riverine or littoral environments.
