NAVFAC Pacific held a Public Affairs Conference for the Pacific area of responsibility on Jan. 10 at its headquarters. Attendees included the Public Affairs Officers (PAOs) from NAVFAC Pacific, NAVFAC Hawaii, NAVFAC Marianas, NAVFAC Far East and NAVFAC Headquarters. NAVFAC Pacific Commander Rear Adm. John Korka along with NAVFAC Pacific Vice Commander Capt. Michelle La Duca provided opening remarks and a presentation focused on communications within the NAVFAC organization. The one-day conference focused on 2017 accomplishments, challenges, new initiatives, lessons learned and much more.
