Description
English: Page 248 in Nahum Gergel' article "The Pogroms In the Ukraine 1918-21", Published in: YIVO Annual Of Jewish Social Science, New York, 1951. Originally published in Shriftn Far Ekonomik Un Statistik, 1928. Page 248 contains table "Distribution Of Killed By Perpetrators Of Pogroms".

Statistical data was collected by Nahum Gergel at the time of pogroms in Ukraine in 1918-21. The article was written in Yiddish and originally published in Berlin, Germany, in 1928. English translation was published in New York in 1951. Statistical figures and analysis in this article was widely used by different authors, not always mentioning Nahum Gergel. It was used by Alexander Solzhenitsyn in his book "Dvesti Let Vmeste" ("Two Hundred Years Together") about history of Jews in Russia.
