Summary
[edit]DescriptionMy first school (4651629653).jpg |
Queen Alexandra Elementary School, Edmonton, Alberta. It was built early enough that it had a coal shute about where the white shed is. I guess that's why the grounds seemed to be of cinders rather than grass. I failed to make that connection till just now though, after more than 60 years of contemplation so I guess getting me through those grades 1-6 was a challenge. It's a stately old building and still used, I believe, as a school. They don't build 'em like they used to. |
