| Description |
For the rest of the holidays I'm going into the archives to retrieve old images that I haven't shown, or ones that I've shown but improved upon :-). If you're thinking that I'm doing this because I've run out of new stuff, you would be right! This one is from August 2009, taken in Monument Valley on a trip with Jim and Walter. It comes from the Nikon D80 with the 18-200 lens. Looking at this, I find it hard to justify why I ever upgraded. The title refers to the remains of a dead tree that I always visited when in MV. This was before they built the campground near the hotel. The last time I went, the place had been bulldozed and my Old Friend is no longer of this world. RIP. |
