Nederlands: Muurschildering, Kleuren van de zee. Ontwerp leerlingen OSG de Hoge Berg. De vormen zijn geïnspireerd op de Forel-Ule-schaal. Ontstaan tijdens de workshop Kleuren van de Zee in maart 2019 van de S.E.A. (Science Encounters Art) onder leiding van Edwin Eduard Boering en Paulien Valk. In augustus 2019 hebben beide kunstenaars het aangebracht op de muur van de OSG school. |

INFO-Zie afbeelding op de foto. Dr.Jaime Pitarch is de huidige onderzoeker en technisch ingenieur van het NIOZ. Hij maakt gebruik van beelden die satellieten maken van de zeeën en oceanen. Bij een vergelijking van de beelden, zie je verschillen in de hoeveelheid algen, en daarmee de hoeveelheid CO2 die er zich in de oceanen bevindt. De hoeveelheid algen, zijn te zien aan de kleuren van de zee. Het meetinstrument Forel-Ule-schaal is daarvoor een goed hulpmiddel.
