English: A group of Muslims, including U.S. Army Maj. Syed Ahmed, a surgeon with the 67th Forward Surgical Team, and U.S. Army Pfc. Aminu Mohammed, pay homage to Allah during a Muslim prayer group meeting at Forward Operating Base Farah, Farah province, Afghanistan, on Aug. 24. Ahmed and Mohammed are devout Muslims and lead a weekly prayer group that allows fellow Muslims to practice and study the teachings of their faith in a safe and secure environment. Currently deployed to FOB Farah, Afghanistan, Ahmed and Mohammed are able to break the stereotypes they see from both local Afghan Muslims (many of whom aren't aware of the existence of American Muslims) and fellow soldiers (many of whom believe all Muslims are terrorists or support terrorism).
