Español: El mural "Historia de la Medicina en el Cauca" creado por Belisario Antonio Gómez Castro entre los años 2004 y 2005 con 2.500.000 teselas vítreas importadas de México, se encuentra ubicado en el edificio de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad del Cauca (Popayán, Colombia). Este mural / mosaico plasma una serie de personajes y hechos que tienen trascendencia en la historia regional y mundial de la medicina, representando desde las prácticas primitivas hasta los grandes avances de la ciencia.
English: The mural "History of Medicine in Cauca" created by Belisario Antonio Gómez Castro between 2004 and 2005 with 2,500,000 glass tiles imported from Mexico, is located in the Faculty of Health Science of the University of Cauca (Popayán, Colombia). This mural / mosaic embodies a series of characters and events that have significance in the regional and world history of medicine, representing from primitive practices to the great advances of science. |
