A koszorút alul átkötő aranyozott ezüstszalag vésett felirata: Munkácsi Munkácsy Mihálynak - a nagy művésznek - szülő városa Munkács - 1882 - február. A koszorú átmérője 40 cm. Munkácsy Mihály özvegyének végakarata értelmében Munkácsy unokahúga, Cecilié von Barnewitz ajándékozta a Békéscsabai Múzeum-Egyesületnek. Ma a Békéscsabai Munkácsy Mihály Múzeum tulajdona (leltári szám: Ht. 53.5550.1-2.)
