Description Looking up the Buffalo River from its mouth in about 1876. Seen just right of center, behind several sailboat masts, is Bennett's Elevator; to its right are the Reed and Watson's Elevators. At left is the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad coal yard, now part of Canalside.
