Description Once again, like at Flaming Geyser, I was given a small heart attack by a pair of dovey things exploding from the underbrush. I managed to snap this quickly before it but my settings were adjusted for the sunny view shot I just took so it was basically black. Pumped up in post, it appears this is a Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura). These are all over the place in AZ, I didn't realize there were here in WA too.
